Because trusting strangers can be frightening, I think introductions are in order. My name is Steve Bowhay and many thousands of you have visited our botanical garden in Juneau Alaska, Glacier Gardens Rainforest Adventure. For this we just want to say thank you, and thank you for all the wonderful comments that you left in our guest book. As small business people we provide opportunities for 10 full time and about 50 seasonal positions and have a family owned and operated business. We know how difficult it is to turn a vision into reality and know there are millions of other people just like us in the southwest who know how to get things done as a community.

We believe it is possible for people of like mind to come together to perform great works. History has shown this to be true, but it is also true that you perform exactly as you practice. This type of project one might normally think of as a government type project, but I believe that America is by the people, for the people, and it is up to us to find the answers. We have taken this project as far as we can without help, we know the way we are going about this is unconventional, but then again these are unconventional times.

Obviously, portions of this project beyond just permitting will require the government at all levels including local, state and the feds. So it is with all projects of this magnitude. We are hopeful that when most people learn of this project, they will clearly see how the benefits to the environment, the millions of opportunities for hard working people, and the long term benefits for our country and the world, and will see this project as a successful model of how to create true infrastructure that raises the quality of life for all. If you would like to participate in this project please write to us and “Welcome Aboard”.
