Six Years

When we first met to discuss this project we had only a hint about how necessary this would be. Looking back, we have learned a lot about projects of this size and the pace of politics.

In the past six years we have met with many businesses and politicians to keep driving forward. We have navigated many hurdles and are sitting in a good place despite still being relatively quiet.

With the dire situation now facing California and drought conditions now affecting Washington state, the need for technology like our River Recycler is more important than ever.

This site was originally published to explain the technology to politicians, lawyers, and business executives, so it may seem a bit longwinded. We are in the process of updating this site to be more friendly and easy to understand.

In summary we have created a solution that can skim fresh water off of the surface of the ocean, transport that water, store the water in reservoirs located within the ocean, and bring the water back to land. All using reusable, sustainable, or biodegradable technologies.

By leveraging our oceans and the combination of external pressure and buoyancy we have discovered ways to reduce costs, increase the volume of available freshwater and create something much more reasonable to manage than similar options that could be created on land.

Our approach to water collection using skimming equipment ensures that we are able to collect the maximum sustainable volume of freshwater available. Since our equipment is designed to be portable we can move out of the way of migratory species, mitigating risks to spawning fish and the industries that rely on them today.

We look forward to sharing updates with you in the near future and hope you will join us in changing the way we all see water management.
